Calling all teens ages 13-18!! The Collaborative Summer Library Program and the Department of Libraries are having a video making contest. Teens individually or in teams, are invited to create a short public service announcement promoting the 2014 summer theme, “Spark A Reaction”, and promoting reading and libraries. The winner will receive $275 and his/her sponsoring library will be awarded prizes worth $125!! The deadline is March 5, 2014. Click on the link below for criteria and necessary forms.
“The Hungry Heart” documentary on prescription drugs, addiction, and recovery in Vermont will be shown at the library on Wednesday, November 20 at 5:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Milton Community Youth Coalition and The Milton Police Department and it is free to the public.
